Description
Mobileuncle MTK Tools
This app offers useful functions for professional developers, though most of its features are also accessible to everyday users. Keep in mind that it requires ROOT access on your device.
Features
Mobileuncle MTK Tools displays detailed information about your mobile device and lets you back up your IMEI.
On top of that, you can lift operator GPRS restrictions or enhance GPS search accuracy.
You can also manage your other applications with ease, and move the apps you need over to your SDCard. To make use of these capabilities, you will need superuser rights, so be sure to arrange those beforehand.
Pros and cons
Since the range of options in Mobileuncle MTK Tools is so extensive, it helps to have some basic programming knowledge before using it.
That breadth brings both great potential and considerable risk.
Making random changes without understanding them can break your device. So if you are not confident in your skills, stick to the basics and only apply changes whose outcome you already know.
You can download the Mobileuncle MTK Tools app for Android for free from Apkmod.app.
