Gameplay

METAL SLUG is a demanding arcade shooter. You need to clear 2D levels of all kinds of enemies, from terrorists and enemy army soldiers to aliens and living gods!

The challenge is made tougher by limited ammo. At the start of each level, you receive a set amount of ammunition, and it's deliberately smaller than the number of enemies you'll face.

That's why spraying bullets left and right is strongly discouraged here. It's far better to find ways to take out several enemies at once, such as blowing them up or setting them on fire.

For exactly these purposes, the game offers a truly wide arsenal of weapons, the option to call in air support, and even the chance to drive vehicles, including real mammoth tanks.
