Merge Miners is a casual game where you combine shovels to upgrade them and dig through tough terrain. Swing a shovel or pickaxe to break through the unyielding bedrock, the kind you'd find in Minecraft, and uncover a treasure chest. Watching the blocks crumble into sand under your shovel is genuinely satisfying!
COMBINE TOOLS TO TACKLE TOUGHER GROUND
The tutorial is a great way to learn the ropes, so let's jump in. Start by buying a shovel to break into the ground. Next, tap the "DROP" button to send the shovel plunging downward and crunch through the soil. The number in the upper right corner of each scoop shows its rank. Scoops of the same rank can be merged by dragging one onto another. Merging raises the rank, and higher ranks let you dig through more demanding terrain. Every stage has a clear objective: the "GOAL" at the top of the screen, which asks you to open 1 treasure chest hidden at the bottom of the dig. Open even one and the stage is cleared.
SATISFYING TO WATCH THE GROUND SHATTER!
As you progress, you'll unlock more slots for placing tools. As the explanations and videos so far show, the game system is extremely simple. Just buy a shovel, merge it, and drop it. You might get bored quickly, but the chaos on screen is oddly addictive. Each round lasts only a few seconds and restarts instantly, so you'll keep playing, thinking "just one more time." The shattering ground effects also look great. It's a perfect game for killing time, so give it a try if it sounds fun.
"MERGE MINERS" EARLY GAME TIPS
If a shovel can't break through the ground, switch to a pickaxe. Success comes down to merging and arranging your shovels, so play steadily and you should clear stages without much trouble. The hardness of the ground depends on the row that falls, so placing your tool where the terrain is softer makes tricky stages easier to beat. If you're still stuck, you can earn a stronger scoop by watching the ads shown in the image on the right. Since restarts are quick, dropping tools and saving up to gradually upgrade your shovel is really enjoyable.
