Description

Meganoid 2017 is a tough platformer that builds new levels with every play session. Pick up a wide range of items to strengthen your character and his abilities as you descend into the Meganoid space ship. Do you hurry toward the exit, or take your time grabbing everything in sight and narrowly escaping the security drones that chase you if you hang around too long.

Key features

• Levels are randomly generated for every game session from a set of templates, so each one feels unique yet familiar.
• A platformer with "roguelike" elements. Consumables, alternate routes, procedural generation and many devices and gadgets add depth to the challenging gameplay of the original Meganoid.
• Plenty of collectible items that change how the main character moves through the world. Grab a jetpack to start flying around, find anti-gravity boots for double jumps, and much more.
• Hidden bonus areas to discover and unlock, often offering a shortcut or very rare and powerful items.
• A hackable game world. Finding green key cards lets you modify how certain elements behave and respond to you. Stop rocket launchers from firing, make rockets fly a shorter distance, or make destroyed robots drop extra lives.
• Unlock the database with details on every item and enemy you encounter so you're better prepared on your next attempt.
