Background

Gameplay

The real core, however, is real-time strategy. Soon you'll discover an abandoned land, and that is where you begin constructing your empire. Building an army in a post-apocalyptic setting may sound familiar, like the kind of game often promoted on Facebook.
You'll need to construct basic buildings such as a soldier's barracks, a blacksmith's workshop, an animal breeding area, and of course a warehouse to store the supplies you gather. Simply build and follow the game's guidance. It may feel awkward at first, but you'll get comfortable quickly, especially if you already enjoy strategy and resource management titles.
Gathering and managing resources
In Mecha Domination: Rampage, resources include food, water, metal, oil, and diamonds. Food and water sustain your entire army's daily needs, while metal and oil are essential whenever you build or upgrade anything. Diamonds are the premium currency, mainly used to buy accessory packs, which you can obtain by depositing money or completing tasks.
To collect any type of resource, you'll have to get out there and gather it yourself. Alternatively, completing the missions the game offers will reward you with a healthy amount of resources.
Fighting the enemy
After reading my introduction, you might assume this is simply a war between the remaining humans and ancient beasts in robotic form. In truth, human greed is the most dangerous force, even in this post-apocalyptic world, and the monsters are merely weapons you wield against rival survivors.
In Mecha Domination: Rampage, you'll soon learn that you are not the only survivor. Many others are out there, and rather than living in harmony, they will often look for ways to attack you and seize your resources. To defend yourself, you'll need to conquer powerful beasts, including dinosaurs, mammoths, giant chimpanzees, and other wild creatures, and build your strength to fight back.
Taming mechanical creatures
To make your army stronger, you need to recruit more warriors in the form of ancient mechanical creatures such as dinosaurs, mammoths, giant chimpanzees, and giant crocodiles. Each mechanical beast has its own stats and set of moves, which you must master before sending them into battle. You can capture them directly in the wild or collect enough pieces to unlock them. Their power is ranked by rarity: R, SR, and SSR.
