Description

Mars Base puts you in the shoes of a lucky settler chosen to head to Mars and help build a colony. The mission is a test of survival on a distant world: can the settlement sustain itself by generating its own power from renewable sources and growing its own food? To prove that humanity's dream of life on the Red Planet is realistic, even apple trees must bear fruit. You'll need to actively expand the settlement, transforming barren wasteland into blooming gardens and golden cornfields. Beyond daily routines, you'll venture outside the safe zone to hunt for valuable minerals and resources, which unlock new space technologies and make life easier for every colonist.

In Mars Base, every stage of farming is done by hand. You'll fertilize the soil, plant seeds, and harvest the crops. With the produce you gather, you can cook meals that grant temporary boosts. After a while, your hero can descend into underground dungeons to uncover great treasures. However, the top priority is stabilizing the town and providing residents with everything they need: energy, food, and resources. Infrastructure matters too, since it raises quality of life, which encourages a higher birth rate and helps the colony grow. The more people you have, the more opportunities open up for the player. Mars weather isn't very varied, but frequent sandstorms will force you to take cover in shelters to avoid accidents.
