The tale of Manor Matters starts with Carl, a servant of Castlewood's owner. Carl is on a train and begins to explain his mission. Long ago, Castlewood belonged to Mr. Burke, a passionate explorer. On one of his expeditions he vanished, leaving behind his estate so his assistant could hand it over to the rightful heir. You take on the role of this character.

Players head to Castlewood mansion, which is rumored to be haunted. Its age shows, since it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. The weather is bleak that day, and while Carl searches for the key to get inside, a figure with bloodshot eyes suddenly appears. It frightens both Carl and you, yet you press on, determined to uncover the truth behind the haunted mansion.

CASTLEWOOD REMODELING JOURNEY

After collecting the key by clearing several levels of Manor Matters, you step into the mansion and get a view of its neglected interior. Everything is ancient and hidden in darkness. From here, you begin restoring the furnishings, starting with an old wooden chair. It's so worn that it breaks the moment Carl sits down, so you bring him a replacement.

OVERCOME MANY CHALLENGES TO RENOVATE THE MANSION

In Manor Matters, the yellow star is the key resource for renovating the mansion's objects. Repairs aren't free; they require resources. With so many different interior pieces, players will invest plenty of time in their renovation work, and each renovation element must pass through a puzzle level to earn a set number of stars. The gameplay is easy to understand.

When a renovation request appears and you lack enough stars, you'll be taken to an object-finding stage. Each location is packed with various items, and you must tap the ones listed to select them.
