Description
Lucy – The Eternity She Wished For is an Android game about a lonely protagonist who builds a beautiful android companion, hoping she will help him enjoy all the simple pleasures of life. Things go wrong, however, when the model is discarded after a malfunction. The root of the problem is that the robot was released without enough restrictions to keep its behavior in check. Over time, something unexpected happened on the assembly line, and she developed a form of artificial intelligence. Every model has its own mind, but this young android has no limits at all.
She no longer follows her programmed routines. Instead, she works to expand her own thinking by learning about the world around her. The hero ends up with a companion who is willing to provide pleasant services and who doesn't weigh moral principles the way people do. Whether she would actually agree to such an arrangement is an open question, since her body has no sensory receptors, so physical intimacy means little more than an odd human custom to her. Love has no scent for her either, and the only hope is that the young man recognizes his mistake and stops treating the robot as if she were a person.
