Description
Lifeline: Whiteout
Continuing the story of the cult quest, this sequel asks you to help a mysterious man who has lost his memory. Can you guide him through?
Plot and gameplay
This is an incredibly gripping interactive quest centered on a brave protagonist trapped in an extremely difficult situation.
Whatever happens, he is determined to fight for his survival. The story unfolds in a frozen wasteland.
A stranger suddenly finds himself face to face with deadly cold, with no clue how he ended up there. If he remains in the freezing temperatures for too long, he will soon perish. Only you can help him stay alive.
The stranger has lost his memory, and you will help bring it back by asking him probing questions. Ahead lie countless problems of every kind, each demanding a prompt solution.
Design
The color palette and button layout have been revised compared to the first part. Overall, the graphics look good, though nothing about them stands out. For a text-based quest, that is hardly a drawback, however. Throughout the game you will be content with the standard visuals found in nearly all interactive quests.
The soundtrack is another highlight, keeping you on edge from the first moment to the last. This series has always been known for its excellent music.
