Their strength grows when three characters of the same type stand next to each other.

When three matching characters line up side by side, a larger character of the same type appears and gains the ability to attack. You can shift a character's position to set up combos and summon giant characters. Each turn gives you a set number of moves to match characters of the same type and launch an all-out assault on your enemies. Over time, you'll discover many characters with awe-inspiring powers.

To upgrade your characters, you'll need gold and character gems. Gather as many gems as you can, and open chests whenever possible, since each chest holds an impressive reward.
