La Biblia Reina Valera de Estudio en Español MOD APK 8.0.1, Free
The Reina-Valera is a Spanish translation of the Bible first published in 1569 in Basel, Switzerland. It earned the nickname "Biblia del Oso" (English: Bible of the Bear) from the illustration on its title page, which shows a bear reaching for a honeycomb hanging from a tree. It was the first complete Bible printed in Spanish, though it was not the first complete Bible in the language; earlier versions, such as the 13th-century Alfonsina Bible translated from Jerome's Vulgate, had appeared in previous centuries. Its chief translator was Casiodoro de Reina, an independent Lutheran theologian, and a manuscript held at the Bodleian Library suggests the Spanish Bible was a collaborative effort. The translation drew on the Hebrew Masoretic Text (Bomberg's Edition, 1525) and the Greek Textus Receptus (Stephanus' Edition, 1550). Reina also consulted secondary sources: the Ferrara Bible for the Old Testament and Santes Pagnino's Latin edition throughout. For the New Testament, he relied heavily on the translations of Francisco de Enzinas and Juan Pérez de Pineda. The 1569 edition included the deuterocanonical books of the Old Testament.Note: This app uses Google Analytics.Draw closer to Jesus and God with this Bible app. Download it free today and enjoy a richer, more complete Bible study wherever you go.
