Description

Kubaturnik

This app works as a calculator that helps you work out the cubic volume of boards or logs based on their dimensions.

Gameplay

When you open the app, the main menu appears with several tabs, including log volume, board volume, average weight of solid wood volume for major species, and area calculator. In the log volume tab, you can determine the total volume of your logs by entering the number of logs, their length, and diameter. After the calculation, the app shows the result in cubic meters.

Rounded logs can be calculated according to ISO 4480-83 or GOST 2708-75. The area calculator, meanwhile, shows how much timber you need to cover a given surface.

To use it, enter the width, length, and thickness of the boards, then add the area by specifying the width and length of the room where the boards will go. Next, tap the "Calculate" button.

The app runs the calculation and displays how many boards of the size you entered you will need, along with their total volume.

In the average weight of solid wood volume tab, choose a species from the available list, then set its moisture content and volume, and tap "Calculate" to see how much the wood will weigh.
