Description
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
Dreaming of becoming a millionaire?
This game offers you a chance to live that dream virtually.
Gameplay Features
Chances are, nearly everyone already knows how this game works. It follows the same format as the original TV show, with players answering questions in an effort to win a million. Every five turns, the money you've earned is locked in as a "guaranteed" amount.
As in the original version, hints are available here. In this version, though, they essentially hand you the correct answers, which takes away some of the thrill. The questions grow harder as you advance, so only the most knowledgeable players will manage to reach a virtual million without relying on hints.
This is a rather engaging game that puts your knowledge to the test. Once you answer a question correctly, the screen transitions quickly, letting you move on to the next challenge right away.
Design
The visual design differs quite a bit from the original show. That said, it has no effect whatsoever on how the game plays.
Regardless of how the questions are presented, you'll still have fun answering them. A scale at the top lets you keep track of how much money you've accumulated.
Standard questions are highlighted with purple rectangles, while progress is saved after questions shown in green. Unfortunately, the design includes a few unnecessary extras, such as hearts and other decorative elements.
