Description
Kingdom: The Blood is a cross-platform title from Action Square, set in a zombie-infested version of medieval South Korea. The game includes multiplayer, where players team up to take down bosses, and the developers have also introduced 1v1 PvP battles. To earn extra materials, you can take part in training sessions. During the beta test, in-game purchases are turned off. Keep in mind that once the servers shut down, all progress will be wiped.
Gameplay is reminiscent of titles like Dark Souls, featuring manual controls, a third-person perspective, and punishing bosses. A player can't interrupt their own attack animation, so success depends on learning enemy movement patterns and waiting for the perfect opening to strike. Visually the game looks modern, yet in certain areas it seems to drop the picture to low quality on its own, and environmental models are hit especially hard by this.
Among the more interesting features, Kingdom: The Blood includes zombies that strike suddenly and move quickly. If one of them bites you, your character becomes infected, and only water can cure the debuff.
