Description

JB4 Mobile works as a mobile data logger and display for the JB4 piggyback tuner from Burger Motorsports. To get connected, plug the JB4 data cable into your device with an OTG cable.

*Choose a high-quality OTG cable to prevent connection problems. *If you often see a "Serial port not available" error, one of these is most likely the culprit:

1) Your OTG cable is defective 2) Your device either lacks proper OTG support or needs a powered USB hub 3) You're using a Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge (details below)

Galaxy S6/S6 Edge owners using an OTG cable: I've learned that these devices only work properly if you first attach the OTG cable to your device, then connect the JB4 cable, and only then open the app and connect. It's unclear why these phones are so finicky, but at least someone discovered a workaround.

JB4 Mobile lets you keep an eye on several parameters of your JB4-equipped car at the same time. You can view boost PSI, RPM, fuel trims, air/fuel ratios, ignition advance, fuel pressure, and a lot more.

How to calibrate the G Force meter (required for 0-60 times): 1) Mount your device in your vehicle in a mostly upright position (portrait orientation only for now). 2) Select a G Force gauge on the display. 3) With the vehicle fully stopped on a flat surface, double tap the G Force gauge. 4) Once the dot sits centered in the circle with the car at rest on level ground, calibration is complete. To change what a gauge shows, tap and hold it and a menu will pop up. To check your max boost, double tap the boost gauge (double tap again to return to live boost; max boost resets after you view it). JB4 Mobile is not affiliated with Burger Motorsports.
