Trapped in a web of crime and lost in reality? Download the latest version of It Was Raining That Night 0.8 for Android today and help the protagonist find his way out!
It Was Raining That Night is a dramatic story about a hero tangled in his own lies, who must hunt for at least a few glimmers of hope at the end of the dark tunnel he has built. Thousands of obstacles stand in his way, as the developers at VeronicaPerv studio make clear. Some stem from choices he made in the past, since he didn't rise to the top of the criminal underworld by accident, and others come from a few mafia deals he simply can't refuse anymore.
Still, the biggest challenge comes from the boss's daughter. The young beauty has fallen hopelessly in love with the man who is walking toward certain death…
Gameplay
The IWRTN world follows the classic conventions of the visual novel genre, so the experience centers on dialogue, illustrations, animated cutscenes, and picking the right lines and actions. The developers don't allow you to roam the global map or interact with the environment, such as placing items in an inventory.
Features:
- A layered narrative in which past, future, and present weave together into an intricate and almost one-of-a-kind knot, where even pulling a couple of threads won't unravel it;
- A carefully curated collection of illustrations and animations: the developers have counted more than 500 pieces of 18+ content that you are sure to encounter during your playthrough (or in the "Gallery");
- A realistic art style, with a touch of cartoonish charm, that transforms a modest story into a Hollywood blockbuster you can't escape without real skill;
- Almost unlimited freedom of action that keeps pushing you to pick even absurd dialogue options, and the more you experiment, the more the story shifts;
- Unexpected plot twists that turn the world upside down in every single story episode, without exception, while forcing the main character to rethink his outlook on life.
