Description
Isle of Skye: The Tactical Board Game puts you in charge of a Scottish clan, battling rivals for control of the island of Skye. Up to five clans compete for dominance, but only one leader will rise as king. Expanding your territory and building profitable trade routes may be the smartest path to victory. You begin with nothing but a castle, and your kingdom grows outward from there. The island offers three kinds of terrain (meadows, mountains and water), and each tile can be either open or closed. Across the land you will find eight objects to add to your kingdom: three types of buildings, two kinds of animals, ships, barrels of whiskey and scrolls worth victory points. Trade, construct, set your prices and outmaneuver rivals to claim the win. The game offers deep strategy, straightforward mechanics, multiplayer for up to 5 players, a network mode and beautiful illustrations.
