This app only works with IPv4 internet connections, as IPv6 is not supported at the moment. Ever wondered where a particular IP address originated? Curious about its current status? Let IP Info Detective investigate it for you. The Private I report gives you detailed information about the flagged IP address, so you can review the findings and draw your own conclusions. It's handy for checking the status of your own IP address too.

To gather its data, the app draws on publicly available IP blacklists and presents the results in an easy-to-read format, alerting you whenever an IP address appears on those lists. There are a few possible reasons an address might be listed. Your router may have been assigned a dynamic "dirty" IP that you'd rather not use for browsing. Or you may have found out that your network has been blacklisted. From there, you can take the next steps as needed.

android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – Lets the API cache map tile data in the device's external storage.

Google Maps Android API version 2 requires this permission.
