Home Theater VR is a virtual reality video player that streams content to your PC through a web browser or image viewer. It works with nearly all Android phones and VR headsets.

A One-of-a-Kind VR Theater Experience

No other VR player matches the Home Theater VR experience. It was built from the ground up to deliver unmatched flexibility and a rich set of features.

Everything is managed inside the app itself, so you don't need to depend on outside VR services. Your phone doesn't have to be compatible with Cardboard, Daydream, GearVR or Oculus either. The built-in settings cover every adjustment, including IPD.

Video Sources

* Local Files: Videos stored on your phone or memory card. Browse them with the in-app browser, or open them from other file managers using Open With or Send to.

* Web Streams: Online streaming platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and more.

* HTTP Video Streams: Streams powered by VLC, FFmpeg and other streaming software. A companion app called Stream Helper, which uses VLC to stream video files from a Windows PC, is also available.

* Web Browser: Surf the internet and websites like YouTube right inside the app. This feature works only with a gamepad.

* PC Monitor Mode: Mirror your computer screen in VR, perfect for web browsing, gaming and any other computer activity. The HTVR PC Streamer companion app offers a one-click connection and full control over stream quality.

Note: PC Monitor streaming is available only on Windows 8 or later.

You can pick between two streaming modes: DDA or SDG.

DDA requires an Intel CPU. It streams at 60 FPS with very low latency, making it ideal for all PC activities, including gaming.

SDG mode supports a wider range of activities, but offers lower frame rates and higher latency.
