Havenless puts you in a world overrun by dangerous infected, and you'll uncover the characters' stories as you go. You can interact with them in different ways and under varying circumstances. As a story-driven game, it also presents you with choices that you must make to move the plot forward. Here's a game you're sure to enjoy.
SURVIVE IN AN INFECTED WORLD
The world of Havenless is in the grip of a highly contagious epidemic of unknown origin. Without warning, infected people began appearing everywhere, throwing ordinary lives into chaos. You take on the role of a young woman trying to flee the infected after crossing paths with a priest named John. Tragically, the heroine herself becomes infected.
The infection brings many telltale symptoms, one of the most striking being a severe loss of sight. Unable to see clearly, she must learn to navigate her surroundings by sound alone. Knowing she could have little time left, the main character escapes the infected and joins up with a group of survivors. This is where the player's journey truly begins.
INTERACT WITH OTHER CHARACTERS
Gameplay in Havenless is easy to pick up, and you'll take your time piecing together what is happening in this perilous world. You follow the heroine and shape how you engage with the other characters. Important information surfaces throughout, presented in a variety of ways, and you'll meet many more characters as your journey continues.
After bringing John to the heroine's hiding place, you'll encounter a cast of distinct characters: Lance, a handsome man in a vest; Shane, the main character's childhood friend; and Lily, a girl who lost her family during the pandemic. You'll keep interacting with these characters until a problem arises that demands a solution, and solving it means making the right choice. That decision-making is a key part of the fun in this game.
OFFER DIFFERENT OPTIONS
Beyond its gripping storyline, Havenless also confronts you with problems you must solve. You'll face questions with two options, and you choose the one that suits you best. Some choices cost nothing, while others require diamonds. Every decision you make shapes how the story unfolds.
Choices with differing characteristics appear throughout the episodes, and you won't know when they'll pop up. If you lack the resources to unlock a particular option, you'll need to complete more episodes to earn them. As a result, you won't play through the game just once. You'll discover options you couldn't reach before and uncover many more paths through the story.
