“* Fantastic board game! While the distinct scoring mechanics might take a brief learning curve, they provide immense depth and replay value. It might require two or three rounds to truly master, but once it clicks, you will constantly crave another match to sharpen your strategy.” – Ricks, Board Game Geek
Gain Supreme Influence to Earn the King's Favor: Harald is a tactical card game centered on territory dominance and political clout. Stepping into the shoes of a village chieftain, your objective is to rally the realm's most prominent figures to capture the monarch's attention. Claiming victory demands forward planning and clever utilization of every character's distinct traits.
Master Diverse Characters and Their Unique Powers: Throughout each round, participants carry out three sequential moves: – place one card inside the King's council – assign one card to your home village – draw fresh cards to refill your hand. Featuring six diverse archetypes, every role grants an exclusive ability: the Wolf scout, the Lynx merchant, the Fox bard, the Bear warrior, the Goat seafarer, and the Boar blacksmith. Master their perks to outsmart your adversaries. At the close of your turn, each animal enables decisive tactical maneuvers: seize cards from rivals, swap cards between hands and the royal council to sway odds in your favor, flip cards to nullify victory points, or strategically position prime cards atop the deck. Plan every move carefully to turn the tide of battle.
Maximize Your Victory Points: The primary path to triumph is straightforward: rack up the highest score possible. Reaching the pinnacle of success requires building synergistic card combos. When the match concludes, every card residing in your village yields points equal to the matching cards situated within the royal council. Balance your moves between developing your settlement and shaping the council, while closely monitoring opposing villages to maintain the upper hand.
Deepen Tactical Depth With the Badger Scholar: Introduce fresh layers of strategy with the exclusive Badger Scholar card. This specialized figure grants the ability to safeguard a cluster of companions stationed in your territory. Opponents seeking to dismantle your protected allies must target the Badger Scholar first, drastically complicating their offensive plans.
Key Features: • Engaging single-player mode • Real-time online multiplayer featuring quick-chat emoticons • Unlock gorgeous cards mirroring the physical tabletop edition
