Description

GLTools is a custom OpenGL driver that works with at least some OpenGL ES 2.0 GPUs and both ARM and x86 processors. It is similar to the tool Chainfire3D. It lets you change the resolution and bit depth of images in some apps and games. It can emulate any GPU, so you can enjoy dashing graphics even on hardware that is unknown to the system. You can also build all the structures you want: compress and decompress structures, including unsupported formats, though you still need to identify the plugin for this. The tool needs no more than 800 KB of mobile storage. It optimizes shaders on the fly, similar to how the optimizer in Unity3D works. You can enable smoothing in at least some programs, provided your GPU supports it. Finally, it offers performance boosts with FPS counter support, displayed either on screen or in Logcat.
