HOW TO PLAY

Advance up to three spaces into the mine, then perform one action.

Building rooms

The most effective way to score points is to build rooms. You can only move into a room that hasn't been placed yet. Spend cards whose gems add up to the cost of the room you want to build. Most cards carry 2 gems, which you can use as one or both of the required gems. To add the rotating room to your mine, simply select it.

Gathering gems

You can activate the special ability of a specific room to draw extra gem cards for your action. Pick the room that suits your strategy best, since every room follows its own rules. If you don't have the space you need, you may draw one card instead.

If you are holding more than four cards at the start of your next turn, you must discard all of them.

Winning

In Rush Mode, players compete directly against each other. The first player to reach their point goal earns the most points and wins the game.

Crisis Mode is a race against the clock. Each turn, you must remove cards from your deck and burn them. Reach your goal score before the cards run out!

Gem Rush is a fantastic strategy game in the spirit of The Settlers of Catan!
