Galaxy Sensors was built for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but full compatibility cannot be guaranteed on other models.
Models such as the Galaxy S3 through S5 or Galaxy Note 2 through Note 4 lack a temperature and humidity sensor. This limitation comes from the device manufacturer's decision to remove those sensors, not from the app itself. If a sensor is marked as "NOT PRESENT," your phone simply doesn't include that hardware.
Key features: – Ambient temperature in degrees Celsius – Air humidity percentage – Light intensity – Air pressure – Altitude above sea level – Home screen widget showing ambient temperature. More features are on the way.
The readings come directly from your device's sensors, so they may carry an error of up to 5 to 10 percent in the worst case. That margin is determined by the hardware, and it is beyond what the app can correct. To get more accurate values, place the device on a flat surface for a few seconds so the sensors can settle. Touching the phone with your hands will raise the temperature reading by several degrees.
