Forts Mobile is a mobile real-time strategy game that puts you in command of an island base. Your goal is to build fortifications, upgrade your troops, and destroy the enemy's fort within two minutes.
Description
The action takes place on miniature islands where every grain of sand can be turned into a resource. You serve as both chief engineer and tactician. Your base is a network of structures, ranging from resource mines to defensive towers.
Each building boosts unit production or unlocks new technologies. The setting blends futurism with steampunk: laser cannons stand beside wooden barricades, and soldiers in high-tech armor storm enemy walls.
The first few seconds decide whether you can raise a wall before the attack or be left defenseless. Controls are streamlined for touchscreens: tap a building to select it, then swipe to place it. Heroes play a central role. A Sniper with a laser sight can eliminate enemies behind the front lines, while an Assault trooper smashes through defenses with a dash.
Every action costs one of two currencies: crystals (rare, earned in battle) or coins (basic, accumulated through victories). Upgrading heroes is essential, since without leveling up their skills won't stand a chance against upgraded opponents. The destruction physics, familiar from the PC version, has been simplified: walls collapse block by block instead of following full dynamic laws, yet it still looks spectacular, especially when a bomb goes off in the heart of the enemy base.

- Short matches: each round lasts 2 minutes. This isn't a drawback but a strength, making the game ideal for quick breaks while still demanding lightning-fast decisions.
- Hero system: 12 unique characters, each with their own upgrade path. For example, the Engineer speeds up construction, while the Artilleryman extends attack range.
- Expandable islands: add new zones for resource mining or defensive structures. Each expansion unlocks access to powerful weapons, such as plasma guns.
- No support: the developers have abandoned the game. No new events, balance patches, or bug fixes are being released.
