Description
Fear Surrounds is a horror game first released on PC on October 20, 2021. Developed by a Chinese studio, it is currently in beta testing on Android. Much like Among Us, players are split into victims and hunters. This time, though, the game offers a first-person or third-person perspective, along with dark and eerie locations. Fear Surrounds includes several modes, among them a "battle royale" option. Some players feel the learning curve may be steep for newcomers, since victims have no special abilities and must finish their tasks as fast as they can.
All Roles in Fear Surrounds
- Traveler: a regular victim with no special abilities;
- Priest: can determine a player's faction, but not their exact profession;
- White Spirit: kills one character over the course of the entire game;
- Avenger: destroys the player who voted to expel them;
- Doctor: can see all the corpses on the map;
- Fool: survives the first expulsion, but afterward cannot vote or speak during discussions;
- Psychic: learns which faction the dead player belonged to at every meeting;
- Nightmare: blinds all players;
- Magic Eye: can see the location of every player;
- Ghost King: gains an extra killing ability, but dies after using it;
- Ghost Priest: can learn the role of a dead player;
- Hidden Demon: cannot be detected by the Priest until awakened;
- Silent Spectrum: silences one player in each round;
- Traitor: has no special abilities and must help eliminate the victims.
How to install
- Download the APK file above to your phone.
- Allow “Install unknown apps” when prompted.
- Open the downloaded APK and tap Install.
- If the package includes OBB/XAPK data, follow the bundled instructions.
