After every move, a fresh row of blocks appears at the bottom of the screen and shoves everything upward. If the blocks stack all the way to the top, the game is over.

Take your time and think each move through carefully if you don't want the game to end within the first few minutes. When you get stuck, you can use a hint or undo your last move, but both are limited, so save them for the toughest moments.
