Fading City is a cooperative action game developed by Netease Games Global. It blends many ideas and hundreds of concepts into one package: an open world, role-playing progression, a dynamic combat system, and servers offering both PvP and PvE content. The developers aimed to deliver a bold, all-in entertainment experience. Yet the gameplay is only part of the story, since the studio also built a stylish universe that draws partly on PUBG Mobile and partly on The Last of Us.
Atmosphere, Gameplay, and Events
The setting of Fading City follows the familiar path of post-apocalyptic survival simulators. Even so, the developers worked to make the game's locations stand out as unusually interactive areas. Many dungeons have been added, hiding rare artifacts and supplies. In these hideouts you might find canned food as well as maps that reveal previously hidden areas.
Beyond that, there are plenty of competitive arenas shrouded in fog and guarded by bosses, mobile weapon caches, and workbenches for crafting rare gear. As a bonus, you may come across other survivors and pick up valuable information from them.
