Description
EMPTY SHELL is a nerve-wracking top-down roguelite survival horror game set in a eerie, abandoned facility on a remote island off Japan. You join a risky recovery mission, only to find that the facility is concealing dark secrets and the remnants of a nightmarish experiment. Venture through frigid corridors and long-forgotten rooms, hunt for weapons, ammo, gadgets, documents, and logs, all while battling terrifying creatures lurking in the shadows. No two runs play out the same way, thanks to procedurally generated levels, randomized starting gear, and fresh volunteers stepping in whenever you fall. Manage your inventory with care, buy upgrades, crack environmental puzzles, and decide which supplies are worth carrying with you. As you dig up records from the facility's past, the grim truth behind the disaster gradually comes to light. With atmospheric pixel-art visuals, brutal combat, constant tension, and highly replayable roguelite mechanics, EMPTY SHELL offers a dark survival horror experience where every attempt might reveal something new.
