Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light is a dungeon-crawling RPG that feels like a nod to classic games. Players must carefully work through winding labyrinths to move forward. If you aren't a fan of Dragon Quest or didn't grow up playing RPGs in the 1990s, the game may come across as somewhat dated and slow-paced, especially since it's now over two years old. The Dragon Quest series offers more than 300 Monsters to collect (not all of them have been released yet). While many are simply color variations, each Monster has its own unique set of abilities. Players should pay close attention to each monster's talents, especially its Leader Skill, and build their teams around them. Since the game also features player vs player battles, a well-balanced team is key to success.

- Use rare eggs wisely to give your characters new abilities and boost your overall battle strength.
- Combine monsters to create unusual eggs with special abilities, pass these skills on to your monsters, and use the skill changes to defeat powerful foes faster.
