This two-deck solitaire game blends the rules of Canfield and Forty Thieves to deliver a demanding, absorbing take on the classic card game. To begin, one card goes to the first foundation pile, and its rank sets the lead for the other foundation piles. Thirteen cards are placed face down in a reserve pile, and the top card of the reserve is flipped face up. The tableau is split into two groups: the first four piles each receive one face-up card, while the remaining five piles each receive eight face-up cards. Cards in the first group are played in descending order, alternating colors, and may wrap from Ace to King when needed. Cards in the second group are played in descending order within the same suit, also wrapping from Ace to King if necessary. The leftover cards form the stock, and you can deal from it to the waste at any time. Foundation piles are built up by suit, starting at the lead rank and ending one rank below it, wrapping from King to Ace if needed. You win once every card has reached the foundations. Most deals can be solved with careful play, though the challenge is real.
