Story and Gameplay

DMC 3 is a cult entry in the famous shooter and third-person slasher series, created by Japanese game developers.

The main characters of "Devil May Cry" are Dante and Vergil. The two brothers were born as Nephilim, beings conceived by a demon and an angel. Yet in childhood they were torn apart from their parents and from each other, and from that moment their lives took completely different paths.

In the third chapter of this cult Hack and Slash project, you take control of Dante, a young man with unmatched strength, flair, charisma, and marksmanship. He is half angel and half demon, but the two forces inside him are not fighting for freedom, which cannot be said of his brother Vergil.

Along the way, the player wields a greatsword and two pistols, cutting down every enemy in the way. Players can also pick a specific playstyle:

• Trickster - masters dodging any enemy attack and can pull off acrobatic moves;
• Swordmaster - a unique style in which Dante wields his two-handed melee weapon with real skill;
• Gunslinger - lets you use not only pistols but also shotguns and machine guns;
• Royalguard - makes the hero nearly impenetrable, allowing him to counterattack opponents with ease;
• Doppelganger - lets the character summon a second version of Dante's persona, a demon that fights alongside the hero;
• Quicksilver - lets you slow down time completely during gameplay.

The main villain of the story is Jester, a local foe who knows something about Dante's brother Vergil but hides away in a massive tower. You will have to fight through hordes of enemies to reach him.
