Description
Demon Deals is an experimental, absurd, and wonderfully eccentric visual novel from the studio BreadMan, one that cheerfully pokes fun at familiar genre clichés while pulling you into a story unlike any other. So what is it about? The setup feels familiar: an unremarkable hero who has wasted his potential in his hometown decides to pack up and start over somewhere new.
The move goes smoothly. Belongings arrive on time, the new apartment is already cluttered with old photographs, and a job is waiting. You would think the world should now offer fresh opportunities, yet nothing really changes. Could the problem lie in his mindset, or in the way he approaches life? The developers leave you to uncover the answers through your own experiences…
Content, Atmosphere, and Events
The world of Demon Deals doesn't reveal its secrets right away. Only gradually does the protagonist discover a spot in his new apartment where he can summon spirits, and, driven by his own desperation, he ends up calling a real Demoness into the world, who offers the young man a contract.
She promises several perks: power, fame, and even money, along with the ability to command female attraction and gain immortality. Sounds like the perfect deal? Not quite. In exchange for enormous power, it looks like he'll have to share his soul with this virtual temptress. Risky? Certainly, but what's the alternative? You can't drift between dream and reality forever, hoping for at least some kind of change…
