DEEEER Simulator: Modern World – Who says a deer can't be a superhero? In this game you shoot, brawl, leap and even fly to take down your enemies! If you're hoping for a deep storyline, you won't find one here. There's essentially no set objective either, so you're free to do whatever you like. The map isn't huge, yet there's still plenty of room to roam, and you can destroy nearly every building in the city.Your main opponent is the police, though they're far from ordinary here. The first threat level sends police sheep after you, the second brings taxi bears, and after that come snipers and the super boss corgi!

Police attention doesn't escalate on its own, of course. To raise the threat level, you'll need to smash cars or entire buildings. You can skip this if you like, but know that destroying a building drops a chest that may contain a weapon or a key.Keys unlock special boxes filled with power-ups for your deer, while weapons help you fight off enemies. The fun part is that you can strap weapons all over yourself: machine guns, grenades and pistols can take the place of your antlers when facing down an opponent.

Features of the game

Once you've gathered a stash of weapons, it's time to take on the bosses. One example is a giant koala that fires rays from its eyes. Then there's the corgi mentioned earlier, who doesn't fight alone but with an entire team that merges into a massive super-animal that's tough to bring down, so you'll need a winning strategy. Battles here deserve a topic of their own. The game also contains plenty of caches, and opening them can give you super weapons and other bonuses.

When you die, your progress resets: you lose your weapons and destroyed buildings are restored. Opened caches and key boxes stay unlocked, though, so you won't have to collect keys again. The bosses respawn as well, meaning you'll have to defeat them once more. The game has no real sense of purpose, but players love it for its simplicity and the silly charm of a deer that runs on its hind hooves and handles small arms with ease.
