Players have to work out how to endure the arctic environment, where snow, ice, and scattered plane debris are only the beginning. Enraged zombies and fellow survivors are out there too. You went down in a crash, but you somehow came through it alive. Now you must scavenge for food and craft tools and weapons so you can hold out as long as possible in an unfamiliar land.

Survival depends on making smart choices. Using wood, stone, and other materials you find, you can construct a shelter. You will also need to explore the surroundings, gather food, hunt wild animals, and fight off zombies and mutants. When you run into other players, it is usually wiser to avoid a fight you cannot win.

The game is played from a top-down view, giving you a clear look at your character and a wide slice of the map so you can spot enemies closing in from every direction. Your character collects resources and stores them in a backpack, but avoid overloading it. It is better to build a shelter and keep your supplies there. Protect your base, set traps, and keep enemies from reaching you. The low-poly graphics, strong soundtrack, and chilling atmosphere pull you into the zombie apocalypse and make it hard to step away.
