This app is a digital companion to the Chronicles of Crime board game. It works with the same physical pieces (a board and cards depicting locations, characters, and objects), and lets you and your friends dive into a mystery and carry out your own investigation. Open the app, pick the scenario you'd like to tackle, and a story takes shape around the choices you make as you chase your goal: piece together the clues behind the crime, track down the evidence, and identify the killer before time runs out. Thanks to the game's Scan&Play technology, every physical component carries a unique QR code that can unlock new clues and events, but only if the players are paying close attention. Extra original scenarios will arrive through app updates after the physical game's release, so no new physical components are needed. The VR mode needs nothing more than a mobile phone: slot your phone into the included VR glasses, lift them to your eyes, and step into the game's world to hunt for clues in a virtual setting.
