CF Auto Root is a special update released by Chainfire, a well-known figure in the Android community, that lets you gain Root access on Samsung devices. These packages are known as CF-Auto-ROOT. So how do you root a device with CF-Auto-ROOT? The flashed file carries a modified section cache along with a script that installs a custom recovery, which then automatically grants root rights on Samsung handsets. This approach is considered completely safe because it doesn't rely on any Android exploits. Instead, it neatly places the su binary in the /system/xbin partition and copies the Superuser file.apk into the /system/app section.
How to install
- Download the APK file above to your phone.
- Allow “Install unknown apps” when prompted.
- Open the downloaded APK and tap Install.
- If the package includes OBB/XAPK data, follow the bundled instructions.
