Description
Cave Story is a classic action platformer that sends you through a string of demanding levels to save a village threatened by a ruthless scientist. The story kicks off when a nameless hero, an ordinary boy, wakes up from a dream inside a gloomy, dark cave. Who is he, and what is his name? How did he end up down here? He remembers nothing and knows nothing about himself. After making his way out of the cave, he comes across a village and discovers the danger hanging over it. A mad scientist is threatening the settlement, and only a boy with no memory of his past can stop him. Join him on this journey, battle enemies, and do everything you can to protect the innocent villagers.
This is still the same game that first appeared many years ago, but this version has been substantially reworked and looks far better. To begin with, the visuals have been upgraded so the game displays properly on modern monitors. It also supports high resolutions. On top of that, all of the in-game music has been re-recorded. Many new modes have been added, the bosses have been improved, and there is much more besides.
