Important Note!
Many of you already know that Android 9.0 and 10.0 brought major changes to call recording. These changes affect every manufacturer and have limited our ability to record both sides of a call on Android 9.0. In many cases, only your own voice is captured by default, although some devices may still allow both the audio and video sides of a call to be recorded. This can be frustrating during private conversations. We have recently released an update that lets Total Recall capture both sides of the audio once you grant the access permission during installation. However, the audio quality may not match that of earlier OS versions.
We can also record both sides of calls on all major brands and models, but this feature is only available to rooted users. The new technology uses root access to get around this restriction and is built on the Magisk systemless module, which provides direct access to both audio and text. Systemless means no changes are written directly to the device's /system directory, which is the preferred approach because it avoids irreversible modifications to your device's core. The module can also be unloaded at any time.
We are happy to provide further information and assistance regarding this solution.
