Brave Ronin – The Ultimate Samurai Warrior is an ideal pick for fans of hack and slash games, especially those with a Japanese flavor. The gameplay is fairly straightforward and free of overly complex systems, which makes it a great choice for relaxed, enjoyable play. Even in the middle of fierce fights, you'll get to admire the beauty of Japan as it's recreated in the game.
A SAMURAI'S STORY
You may already know that Japan is often called the “Land of the Rising Sun,” a place renowned for its deep traditions and strong cultural identity. It was also here that many of the most skilled samurai were raised and trained. Bound by honor, they were entrusted with noble duties and pledged their loyalty to their lords. At this time, open conflict had erupted between several rival samurai clans, and it seemed that countless lives would be lost in the war.
The most powerful family of the era, the Minamoto, never expected the mighty Taira clan to strike against them. The attack left nearly the entire Minamoto clan destroyed, and only one man, Rei, managed to survive. He departed from that place with a single resolve: to return, take revenge, and reclaim everything the Taira had taken from him. In the game, you will guide Rei along his path of vengeance and rise to become the greatest samurai that all must fear.
BECOME A LEGENDARY WARRIOR
Aware that Rei is still alive and returning to bring them down, the Taira have strengthened their defenses everywhere in an effort to stop him at any cost. On this grueling journey, you will face many obstacles, including the other samurai the Taira have dispatched to hunt you down. Armed with only your sword, can you defeat every one of them? The fate of Rei now rests in your hands.
With each step you take, a samurai may appear, or sometimes two or three may suddenly ambush you at once. These moments call for your skills and moves to strike all of them at the same time. To succeed, you must stay alert in every situation, because even a few seconds of carelessness can allow them to close in and bring you down quickly.
Are you ready to become a mighty samurai and fight to avenge your entire clan in Brave Ronin? The great responsibility resting on your shoulders is heavy, but you are more than capable of carrying it. Pick up your sword and get ready to stand beside Rei.
