Description
BootManager Donate lets you prevent chosen apps from running at system startup. Only apps holding the BOOT_COMPLETED permission appear in the list, and system apps are flagged with an exclamation mark.

For non-developers: Any app that declares the “android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED” permission is added to a kind of startup folder. On my test device with 200 installed apps, roughly a third qualify. Every time the system boots, each of these apps is launched. Depending on the app, it might show a notification, start a hidden background service, or close itself right away (for example, if you have set it to do so). Disabling an app in BootManager means it won't receive that boot event and won't start at the *next system boot*.
ReceiverStop Still have an app launching at startup? Android offers many other events that can trigger an app. For example, Skype holds the “android.permission.MOUNT_UNMOUNT_FILESYSTEMS” permission. In practice, that means when a DVD is inserted into the drive, autorun kicks in and opens Skype.
Note: Since your SD card is almost always inserted, it can also be used to launch apps at boot. Other triggers include a Bluetooth device connecting or disconnecting, a change in connection type (2G/3G/Wi-Fi), or the power adapter being plugged or unplugged. You can restrict all of these with my other app, ReceiverStop. Be careful, though, and make sure you don't disable the wrong one.
