Description
Blade Run: Slice and Escape
A fun mix of a simple arcade game and ASMR, where you slice objects and enjoy the sound, but don't forget that an enemy is hot on your heels.
Gameplay
A fun yet surprisingly engaging platformer that helps you unwind by slicing all kinds of objects. The core idea is simple: rack up as many points as you can by cutting through the objects you run into along the way.
It isn't as easy as it looks at first glance, though, because you have to use a special ninja figure to do it.
This figure is what makes the game work, since it can extend a fairly long blade, but sadly the blade isn't endless.
Its length is limited, and the further you stretch it, the farther the figure drops, which means you can cut more from it.
The path your ninja runs along is anything but straight, however, and it's full of pits, so watch your step or you may end up falling into one.
Game Features
The game is marketed as anti-stress, which is really a misconception. The slicing sounds are pleasant enough, but you have to keep a constant eye on your ninja. Cut through the wrong block and you might awaken a terrible monster that starts chasing you.
So make your decisions quickly to earn the maximum points. At the end of each level a challenge awaits, and your reward depends on how many points you score. Points matter beyond bragging rights, too, since you need them to unlock new ninjas.
