Description
Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King is an anime-style role-playing game for Android. The story opens with a cutscene in which one of the heroes takes down a massive boss. Players are then transported into the future, a world where everyone uses magic for everyday tasks, such as making plants grow or summoning rain. Only one character lacks any magical power, so he must prove to everyone, both kids and adults, that he is worth something.
It's a shame the game doesn't have an open world, though it may be for the best: the gameplay is packed with cinematic scenes built on the game engine, the locations are carefully crafted, and orchestral music accompanies the action. The game also has no English localization, so you'll need to follow the plot through the characters' expressions, emotions and body language. Overall the setup is straightforward: a boy without magic powers must take on villains in turn-based battles.
