Description
Bisbi is a privacy app for Android that warns you when someone may be peeking at your phone screen. It uses the front camera to run on-device face detection and shows a floating indicator whose color shifts with what it detects. Bisbi can keep running in the background, offers optional vibration or sound alerts, and lets you adjust sensitivity and display options. Premium features add the ability to snap a photo of the intruder and automatically dim the screen brightness.
SMART SCREEN PRIVACY DETECTION
Bisbi relies on the front-facing camera to keep watch over the space in front of your phone and spot when another person comes into view near the display. A floating indicator gives you an at-a-glance status, switching between green, orange, and red based on what the camera picks up. Sensitivity levels can be tuned to suit different surroundings, and a dedicated check screen lets you see the detection in action.
- Detects nearby faces using the front-facing camera.
- Shows a floating privacy indicator that changes color.
- Provides several sensitivity levels for different environments.
BACKGROUND ALERTS AND CONTROLS
Monitoring keeps going while you switch to other apps, and you'll get notified whenever relevant activity is detected. Optional vibration and sound alerts add extra warnings, and you can drag the floating indicator to whichever spot on the screen suits you best. Size, colors, and overall look can all be personalized in the settings.
- Keeps monitoring while you use other apps.
- Get optional alerts through sound, vibration, and notifications.
- Customize the indicator's position, size, and colors.
ON-DEVICE PRIVACY FEATURES
Bisbi handles everything locally, analyzing camera frames right on your device rather than uploading images to a remote server. There's no account to create and no face enrollment required, and the developer states that camera images are processed only within the device's memory. Premium options include intruder capture, which saves an alert image locally, and automatic screen dimming whenever someone is detected looking at the display.
- Runs face detection directly on the device.
- Uses intruder capture to save an alert image locally.
- Automatically dims screen brightness with the premium feature.
