Hold the line by protecting your eagle-shaped base, pick up a variety of power-ups, and take down waves of enemy tanks.
Gameplay
Step back into the nostalgic world of the Dendy console and play the legendary "Tanks" game, now reimagined in a fresh 3D style.
In classic mode, every level drops you onto the battlefield in a tank with three goals: destroy all enemy tanks, defend your base, and survive until the end of the fight.
That's easier said than done, since every battlefield is packed with obstacles and terrain such as brick walls, concrete walls, bushes, ice, and water. A single shot from a tank is enough to destroy a brick wall, while a concrete wall can only be broken once you've collected enough stars to upgrade your tank.
Water stops tank movement but lets shells fly across, bushes make enemy tanks and their shells harder to spot, and ice makes your tank harder to steer. You will face 4 types of enemy tanks on the battlefield.
Each type has its own armor strength and movement speed, including the basic tank, armored vehicle, fast tank, and heavy tank. Power-ups also appear on the battlefield from time to time to help you clear out your enemies.
Game Features
The game offers several modes, including classic mode and a special mode that introduces two new power-ups.
Enemy tanks can pick up bonuses too. Classic mode features 35 exciting levels to beat.
Once you've beaten a level, you can replay it, though the lineup of enemy tanks will change. A handy built-in editor also lets you create your own maps and play on them.
