Description

ATOM RPG APK MOD, as its name suggests, is a role-playing game made by the Eastern European studio ATOM Team. The simplest way to describe it is as Fallout 1 and 2 with 3D models, more modern mechanics, and a fresh look, set in a post-apocalyptic Soviet Russia. Originally released as a PC and console indie title, ATOM RPG is now available for Android devices. The ATOM RPG APK + DATA OBB file is available for download.

In ATOM RPG, you take on the role of an operative from a secret organization called ATOM, a post-war Illuminati seeking to seize control of a lawless Russia and rebuild civilization. The main storyline is quite basic and mainly serves as a framework for the game. Its real charm comes from the wider world and the strange inhabitants you meet along the way.

Your adventure begins by creating a Gopnik or Slavette of your choice. This choice matters because it shapes the playstyle you'll follow from the very start. You can pick from a good number of avatars and distribute points across various skills and stats, letting you build the character your parents always hoped you would become.

Many situations throughout the game call for a specific set of skills. If your character lacks them, you'll be shut out of those paths.

ATOM RPG is made up of three main parts: exploration, combat, and working through every dialogue option. Exploration means traveling from one town with a hard-to-pronounce name to the next, looting everything you can along the way in pursuit of those cold, hard rubles. It is the second most time-consuming activity in the game.

Combat is turn-based and can be brutal if you aren't a pumped-up Soviet hero with a taste for capitalist blood. The game is surprisingly well translated, and its humor is dark and twisted for all the deviants out there.

The combat and inventory systems closely mirror those of the older Fallout games. The pacing feels a little odd in the late game: once you finally have everything you need, there isn't much left to do. If you enjoy games like Fallout 1 and 2, Wasteland, or UnderRail but want a more casual experience than some of the others, ATOM RPG is definitely worth a try.
