ASTAR
With this app, you can push the limits of how you experience books and magazines using augmented reality. Characters and objects printed on the pages can be brought to life on your screen, and you can even take control of them.
Gameplay
Before using the app, you need to buy a book that carries the ASTAR logo on its cover. Each of these books includes pages with pictures of 3D models, marked by a special icon.
With AR technology, an image from a book page can turn into a talking character that moves around. Each 3D object model also comes with its own unique scenario.
You can control these characters and objects through virtual buttons or a joystick displayed on your device screen.
For instance, if a page shows an airplane, a joystick appears on your screen so you can fly it. If the page features military tanks, you can drive one, carry out combat missions, and even join battles.
