Description
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
This title is the direct follow-up to Assassin's Creed II. Its storyline picks up right where the previous game leaves off.
Game Plot
The hero of this adventure is the renowned assassin Ezio. By the age of 40 he had risen to the top of the Order. After avenging the murder of his loved ones, he left Rome behind.
For a while, he was able to enjoy a quiet, secluded existence. In the final year of the 15th century, however, the protagonist was compelled to say goodbye to that peaceful life.
Following a conversation with Minerva, he departs Rome alongside his uncle. He then arrives in a Tuscan city under siege by Papal forces, an offensive commanded by Cesare Borgia.
Borgia kills Uncle Mario right before Ezio's eyes. Driven by this loss, the hero resolves to seek vengeance no matter the cost. On his way back to Rome, however, he collapses, having suffered a serious wound in battle.
One year later, Ezio sets out to rebuild the Order in earnest. He is forced to establish an underground network made up of thieves, murderers, prostitutes, and novice assassins.
His aim is not only to take revenge on his enemies but also to restore peace and order to Rome as it once was.
Gameplay
The game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes. Multiplayer was a remarkable first for the series, as none of the earlier entries featured anything like it.
