Although Bahia is a barren land, you can still harvest resources from nature, which makes staying alive in this world a manageable challenge. Follow the objective shown in the box and complete it as quickly as you can. If your water or hunger meter drops to zero, your character will die.

Once you have collected enough rewards, build a house for yourself. It's not as difficult as it sounds: you can choose from several options, and with a single click, your character handles the construction.
