Description
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Quran Completion Prayer App This is the prayer recited upon completing the Holy Quran, compiled by some scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah: Sheikh Abu Bakr bin Omar Al-Mulla (Hanafi) and Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdul Latif Al-Khatib Al-Jaafari (Shafi'i), scholars of Al-Ahsa, may Allah have mercy on them. It begins with praise of Allah, followed by a supplication for your deceased, along with a prayer that the reward of reciting the Quran reaches them. It then includes a prayer for your own goodness and relief, and concludes with blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, his family and companions. We ask Allah for success and guidance. Then, your own supplications. All praise is due to Allah.
Note to those who judged this prayer or its app as Shia: did you contact the app owner to verify this? Did you take the trouble to read the "About the App" section, where you would learn that it was compiled by two distinguished scholars of Al-Ahsa from the Sunni tradition, one following the Hanafi school and the other the Shafi'i school? Or do you not know the four Sunni schools of thought and assumed that the Hanafi and Shafi'i scholars were Shia? Or did you hear of Al-Ahsa and assume that everyone there is of Shia affiliation? I can only quote the words of Allah, the Exalted: "O you who have believed, if a dissolute person comes to you with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and then become, over what you have done, regretful" and His words: "Glory be to You! This is a great slander." Nevertheless, I forgive you for the accusations you have made against me.
